CGS is a family-run glazing business established 25 years ago by Nick Emmott, who still runs the business alongside Matthew Pickles. Over the past couple decades we’ve built a strong reputation in the North West on the back of the superior quality of our workmanship and our focus on looking after our customers, who often go out of their way to recommend us.

CGS specialise in the supply and installation of uPVC double glazed windows and doors, composite doors and also the replacement of failed uPVC double glazed units. The replacement of failed double glazing - where condensation has built-up inside the unit - doesn’t cost as much as you might think, as we’re able to swap out the failed glazing unit while retaining your existing uPVC, timber or aluminium frame.

Other services we offer include conservatory installation and renovation; window and door lock, handle and hinge repair; roof leak diagnosis and repair; uPVC roofline installation; and window upgrades to ensure you benefit from the latest in energy efficiency.

Our highly skilled glaziers are considerate when working in your home and are Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checked for England and Scotland prior to beginning work with us. We listen to our customers and only carry out work according to their requirements, and install only premium products from leading suppliers, including Planitherm, VEKA, Rehau, The Ultimate Collective, Rockdoor, Solidor and Yale, amongst others. We are FENSA registered (no. 27980) and are fully insured when carrying out work on your property.
