In 2004, Terry Sales & Jean Sergeant decided to emigrate to Spain which prompted a management buyout by Neil Haylock & Scott Austen, who were the existing senior financial team. They have carried on the same ethos of quality and customer service in a tradition which has continued uninterrupted since 1983 - making Thermoshield one of the longest operating companies in the area. In fact, the company are on the verge of outliving their 10 years insurance backed guarantee by 3 times!
The new team drew upon their experience to boost commercial contracts to a new high. Thermoshield have manufactured and installed windows and doors for Housing Associations such as The Guinness Trust, Anchor Housing, South Essex Homes and the Orbit Group. Attention to detail and the ability to bring in projects on time and on budget have led to regular repeat contracts.
